Rotarians from Rotary clubs of Novato Sunrise, San Rafael and Terra Linda along with parishioners from the Nativity of Christ Greek Orthodox Church in Novato teamed up on April 2 to package breakfast meals for a local community in need. Approximately 100 volunteers prepared almost 25,000 meals for distribution via the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.
The event was organized by Harvest Pack, founded by Marin native William McNally. Founded in 2012, Harvest Pack is a humanitarian hunger relief nonprofit organization that addresses food insecurity by supporting volunteers in bringing meal packing events to their local communities.
