Beyond Differences hosted its Rising to the Moment Gala to support free educational programs that create a culture of belonging and inclusion. The event, held April 14 at Bungalow Kitchen in Tiburon, raised $600,000 benefiting 9,000 schools across the country.

Founded in 2010, Beyond Differences inspires students to end social isolation in their schools and build a culture of belonging. The program provides year-round lesson plans and activities at no cost as well as national awareness days to help students understand and embrace differences and support their well-being. A student-driven organization, the Beyond Differences National Teen Board is a network of high school activists from across the country leading Beyond Differences’ fight to stop social isolation through youth leadership and social justice.
