YOUTH POSTER CONTEST WINNERS SELECTED

Producer’s Award - Carl Fassberg, San Rafael High School

   Twenty-one posters, including the top prize, the Producer’s Award, 10 award winners and 10 finalists, were selected by a team of guest artists and judges in the 2022 Youth Poster Contest. Marin middle and high school students submitted 318 posters to the contest. 

   Gift certificates totalling $2,400 were awarded to the winners, including a matching prize to their schools. Additionally, the College of Marin awarded $1,400 in college scholarships to the Producer’s Award winner and the first, second and third place winners in the high school division.

   Carl Fassberg of San Rafael High School received the Producer’s Award. Simone Carr of Archie Williams High School took first place in the high school category and Keira Flores was awarded first place in the middle school category.

   “The judging of this year’s contest was exceptionally challenging given the sheer number of entries and the exceptional quality of the messaging and art presentation,” said Bruce Burtch, pro bono producer.
