The opening of Rosenborg Memory Care amid Aldersly’s 100th anniversary is part of a multi-phase plan that includes the addition of 35 new independent living apartment residences and improved amenities and services, including its Health and Extended Care Center.

The center says it provides leading-edge features created to enhance the life experiences and wellness of those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

“Since 1921, Aldersly has grown from three modest cottages to an expansive garden retirement community with one hundred years of history,” said Shannon Brown, Aldersly executive director. “The opening of Rosenborg Memory Care fulfills the promise Aldersly makes to provide multiple levels of care to our residents and is a hallmark of our commitment to quality care that we made to our community over a hundred years ago.”

Rosenborg Memory Care’s features include circadian lighting, health and wellness technologies such as air purification and no-transition flooring, smart devices with virtual voice technology in each suite, and community access to an interactive iN2L screen which includes games, recreational activities, fitness and educational programming.
