Mt. Tam Quilt Guild recently donated a meaningful quilt to The Global Book Exchange in Terra Linda.
Inspired and encouraged by the volunteer work at the book exchange, a team of members of the Mt. Tam Quilt Guild quilted a bookshelf. The quilt will be displayed in the library where students take part in field trips.
“The guild loves community service, and we love to collaborate with and honor nonprofits who can benefit from our art, whether through wall hangings like the quilted bookshelf, or through practical donations,” said Rachael Sawyer, publicity chair for the Mt. Tam Quilt Guild.
