More than 400 guests at Guide Dogs for the Blind’s Canine Heroes Gala enjoyed an evening filled with meaningful stories from special guest Aria Mia Loberti, a Guide Dogs graduate and star of the upcoming Netflix adaptation of the acclaimed novel “All the Light We Cannot See.”

She spoke with her guide dog, Ingrid, at her side. Guests were also treated to a musical performance by composer James Newton Howard and violinist James Ehnes.

Current and future guide dogs mingled with human guests to celebrate the organization’s 80th anniversary. The gala raised more than $700,000, which will help the organization empower individuals who are blind or visually impaired to move through the world safely and confidently.
