Savannah Simms, general manager at Volvo Cars Palo Alto, explained the history of the Women’s Circle and the gains the company has made with women in leadership positions.

A speaker’s panel moderated by Diana Kennedy, general manager of Volvo Marin, included Amber Alley, general manager of Barsotti’s Body and Fender; Kerri Wise, chief marketing officer, Auto Fi; and Ashlyn Murray, vice president of Client Service, Foundation Direct.

Topics included women in leadership roles, the importance of mentorship, and family-work balance.

“We started our Women’s Circle roughly three years ago and to see the number of attendees in the room on March 8 really commemorates our efforts,” Kennedy said. “We are completely energized and plan to carry this energy into 2023 to build on our efforts to grow our presence. I am so proud to work for the Price family because of their continuous belief and support in us.”

A panel discussed paths to leadership positions and addressed challenges for women working in male-dominated industries.
