The second annual Marin Powwow was held March 17 at Terra Linda High in San Rafael. This celebration of the Indigenous communities that live and work in Marin on Coast Miwok land brought together the various nations represented in the Bay Area to commemorate spring.
More than 1,000 attendees enjoyed drum groups, traditional dancers, arts and crafts and a raffle. The colorful community event featured the cultural diversity of several Indigenous peoples.
