By the Bay Health announced its Senior Discount Day at Hodgepodge Thrift Store will now be held every Tuesday.
As a community nonprofit organization, By the Bay Health provides care to terminally-ill patients and their families. Hospice Hodgepodge thrift stores offer donated items including household decor, clothing and artwork. All proceeds generated from the store directly benefit local patients and their families.
The decision to move Senior Discount Day from Thursdays to Tuesdays is in response to customer feedback, nonprofit organizers said. Starting Aug. 6, all customers ages 55 years or over will receive a 10% discount on all merchandise every Tuesday at both the Novato and the San Rafael locations.
“We are excited to introduce this change to our loyal clientele and the wider Novato community,”
said Jacquie Whitfield, Hodgepodge manager. “We hope to provide a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience for our senior patrons, while also raising vital funds to support our compassionate care programs.”
