Bloom, a program of YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley, removes clothing as a barrier to a life of self-confidence and self-reliance by providing free wardrobes to Marin County clients. After dressing more than 740 people last year, a 40% increase from the previous year, stock is running low. Consider donating clothing and shoes in excellent condition for men, women and children. Especially needed right now are men’s casual clothes and shoes, all gender warm sweaters, jackets and handbags. Donation hours are Wednesday and Friday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at 1557 Fourth St., San Rafael.
