HEADSUP CARNIVAL TO SUPPORT SAN RAFAEL SCHOOLS

HeadsUp Carnival will bring together all public schools in San Rafael for a celebration on Oct. 6, 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.  HeadsUp Carnival helps raise over $80,000 to help HeadsUp bring critical enrichment and support programs to San Rafael schools, provide equitable opportunities for all students, and build community district-wide. TERWILLIGER NATURE VOLUNTEERS

VOLUNTEER AT SLIDE RANCH SPRING FLING

Slide Ranch, Muir Beach

Spring Fling at Slide Ranch, Muir Beach, will be held April 27, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., featuring animals, wool crafts, guided coastal hikes, live music, cheese and granola making workshops and organic food for purchase. VOLUNTEER AT POINT REYES NATIONAL SEASHORE

Point Reyes National Seashore invites volunteers to  help restore critical habitat, monitor wildlife, repair trails, care for the park's Morgan horses, maintain the Coast Miwok cultural exhibit at Kule Loklo, assist with basic office tasks, patrol the park on foot, bike, horse, and kayak, participate in beach cleanups, and  educate park visitors.
