Halleck Creek Ranch has helped people with disabilities live a life without barriers through therapeutic horseback riding since 1977. The organization had to stop regular services due to the COVID-19 health crisis but shifted to virtual ways to stay connected with its community. The full-time staff of four continue to care for the horses and ranch. Volunteers are now safely returning to the ranch to help prepare to start services health officials give the go ahead. The staff is working on possible paths forward, including online lessons and adjusted scheduling when in-person lessons resume. Donations  are welcome at    -Photos of ranch hands and horses courtesy of Halleck Creek Ranch
