Marin Museum of Contemporary Art (Marin MOCA) is presenting “Invincible,” an exhibition that pays tribute to the vibrant culture, heritage and resiliency of the Latino diaspora. Seven Northern California artists are included in the show that’s on view through Sept. 5. There will be a free virtual panel discussion on Aug. 19, 5pm. Welcoming Home is dedicated to helping families in Marin and Sonoma Counties who are transitioning out of homelessness and poverty by fully furnishing and equipping their “new” homes. The organization engages local community members in which these families live to donates funds and items as well as volunteer time needed to set up the homes. Generous partners, including St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, Birch Circle Movers, North Bay Moving & Storage, Make it Home and United Markets, donated time, space, trucks, food and muscle.
