MARIN SANCTUARIES CALLS FOR PHOTO ENTRIES

All  photographers, regardless of skill level or experience, are invited to participate in the 2022 Get Into Your Sanctuary Photo Contest, sponsored by National Marine Sanctuaries. 

Category submissions include:

Sanctuary Views: Photos of your favorite national marine sanctuary, like the Greater Farallones, Cordell Bank and Monterey Bay.

Sanctuary Life: Sanctuary inhabitants like fish, birds, marine mammals and other ocean creatures.

Sanctuary Recreation: People responsibly enjoying national marine sanctuaries such as through boating, kayaking, diving, swimming, conducting research or just hanging out on the beach. 

Sanctuaries at Home: Submissions to this category can include photos of stewardship activities from your home or neighborhood, or sanctuary-related artwork.

Submit photos by Monday, Sept, 5. Winning photographs will be announced in October. For rules and more information visit sanctuaries.noaa.gov/photo-contest.
