Join Enriching Lives Through Music for its Winter Concert on Dec. 17 at the Showcase Theater, 20 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael at 3 p.m. Come listen to both intermediate and advanced students perform a joyful program of new and old compositions from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, Debussy, Scott Joplin, Shostakovich, Yukiko Nishimura and more.
ELM is a full scholarship, multi-year, intensive program that provides music education, ensemble, and performance opportunities to youth to develop the social, emotional and academic skills they need to succeed in life. Programs include chorus, orchestra, chamber music and parent music groups. In addition to school-year classes, ELM runs a summer camp, concert series and provides scholarships for private lessons for exceptionally motivated students.
