VIVALON DEBUTS NEW CAMPUS

Vivalon and Eden Housing held a celebration to commemorate the official grand opening of the new Vivalon Healthy Aging Campus on Friday, Feb. 9 in downtown San Rafael.

The grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony included the participation of San Rafael Mayor Kate Colin and Marin County Supervisor Mary Sackett. Other speakers included Vivalon CEO Anne Grey, Eden Housing President Linda Mandolini, Marin County Housing Authority Executive Director Kimberly Carroll, former Vivalon CEO Joe O’Hehir, Summer Cassel (Marin County district representative for the Office of State Sen. Mike McGuire), and Susan and Dennis Gilardi.

The new state-of-the-art Vivalon Healthy Aging Campus includes a medical clinic combining traditional medical services with coordinated care, social engagement, learning opportunities, nutrition services, a new café in partnership with Community Action Marin, and activities and programs designed to promote healthy aging for Marin County residents. Additionally, the Vivalon Healthy Aging Campus includes 66 units of 100% affordable Section 8 homes for older adults, developed by Eden Housing.
