In support of the Downtown Streets Team, the Rotary Club of Novato Sunrise recently donated a new commercial size waste cart for operation on Grant Avenue in Novato, which now enables them to double the capacity of waste that can be removed at one time.
Novato is one of 16 communities across Northern and Central California that host teams for Downtown Streets Team, a nonprofit whose mission is to restore dignity, inspire hope and provide a pathway to recover from homelessness. The Novato team operates under an agreement with the City of Novato to remove debris from the Grant Avenue area.
