HALLECK CREEK LOOSES BELOVED MARE

Jazzy will be remembered for her spicy personality and gentle demeanor.

Halleck Creek Ranch recently said goodbye to its
Arabian mare, Jazzy, who joined the program in 2012.
The nonprofit’s staff said she served diligently at
Halleck Creek for many years, patiently teaching
hundreds of students how to ride and care for horses.
According to Halleck Creek Ranch staff, she was one
of its most well-trained horses. At close to 35 years of
age, she had been going strong, serving most recently
in the groundwork program and as a companion to
another retired horse, Lily.
Her final year at Halleck Creek Ranch was spent
grazing on fresh green pastures and enjoying copious
amounts of care from students,
volunteers and staff.
