North Marin Community Services is celebrating its 52nd Annual Holiday Share and Toy Drive,
a tradition that brings the magic of the holidays
to hundreds of children and families each year. The organization invites community members to participate in making this holiday season brighter by donating gifts or volunteering at this event.

This year, 400 children have made holiday
wish lists to be fulfilled by caring individuals, businesses and community organizations. Holiday Share culminates in a celebration in the North Marin Community Services gym, where gifts are distributed and families enjoy holiday activities including ornament decoration, story time and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Community members can make a difference by contributing in one of the following ways:

• Purchasing gifts from a child’s wish list at northmarincs.org

• Donating $25 or $50 Target gift cards for teens

• Volunteering to help collect, sort and distribute gifts, with opportunities through Dec. 14.

“Many families in our community are facing financial hardships,” said Cheryl Paddack, CEO of North Marin Community Services. “Holiday Share is a joyful day where the community comes together to support and uplift one another.”

This event is supported by FP Builders, Novato Fire District, Novato Fire Foundation, Rotary Club of Ignacio, The Game Fortress, Life Science Cares, Common Interest Management Services, Novato Unified School District, Redwood Credit Union, Rotary Club of Novato, Straus Family Creamery, The Book Place and The Women’s Club of Marin, as well as individual donors and community members whose generosity makes it possible to bring holiday joy to hundreds of children.

For over 50 years, the organization has provided essential services to families in North Marin, reaching more than 10,000 people annually.
