LITTLE WISHES RAISES BIG FUNDS

Paddles and spirits are raised high at the inaugural WISHgiving luncheon event benefitting Little Wishes.

Little Wishes hosted its first WISHgiving luncheon at the Meadow Club in Fairfax on Nov. 7. The event brought together the Marin community for a day of giving thanks and supporting seriously ill children who face the holidays in hospitals.

This inaugural event gathered over 140 guests who enjoyed a lively performance by the Marin Girls Chorus, a festive luncheon and shopping opportunities with Marin vendors. Together, they raised more than $100,000 to support the San Anselmo-based nonprofit dedicated to granting small but impactful wishes to hospitalized children since 2003.

Throughout the event, guests raised their glasses — and their paddles — to ensure that young patients could experience the warmth and spirit of the holidays, even while facing medical challenges.

“Cancer or any illness does not pause for the holidays, but neither does Little Wishes. We grant wishes 24/7, 365 days a year,” said Laura Euphrat, president and cofounder ofLittle Wishes. “With the funds raised through WISHgiving, we’ll transform hospital rooms into festive, personalized spaces for these children, bringing them joy, comfort and cherished holiday memories.”

Founded in San Anselmo, Little Wishes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing small yet meaningful wishes to hospitalized children facing serious illnesses. Since its inception, Little Wishes has granted over 30,000 wishes to children in hospitals nationwide.
