Students in Homeward Bound of Marin’s shelter and housing programs will head to class with new outfits, thanks to the annual back-to-school shopping spree hosted at Target in San Rafael. Starting at 7 a.m. on Aug. 1, shoppers headed into the store to fulfill each child’s clothing needs with gift cards donated by the Salvation Army. At their truck, the Salvation Army team stood by to box everything for delivery. This partnership effort will help 75 students start the school year with confidence.
