St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin visited Hamilton School in Novato and Wade Thomas Elementary School in San Anselmo to meet with students involved in the Children for Change program, a service learning and student leadership program.
Jennifer Brine and Sasha Benner of St. Vincent’s Development Team spoke with fourth- and fifth-graders about the mission, programs and impact the organization strives to make every day.
The pair led conversations about homelessness and food insecurity and the students made cards of hope for St. Vincent’s less fortunate clients.
