Over 200 guests gathered at a private classic car museum in San Rafael on May 6 to raise funds for Vivalon, a nonprofit that advances the independence, health and quality of life for older adults and people with disabilities in Marin County.

Vivalon raised over $375,000 during its Soirée d’Élégance fundraiser, where guests congregated amid a collection of over 100 classic automobiles and participated in a live auction. The evening’s gourmet dinner was prepared by Stacy Scott, owner of award-winning Stacy Scott Catering and culinary director at Vivalon’s Jackson Café.

Soirée d’Élégance benefited Vivalon’s home-delivered meal programs — Meals on Wheels and Nourish — as well as other comprehensive, integrated healthy aging services at Vivalon. These services provide lifelines for older adults in the community, who often suffer from debilitating health conditions that prevent them from grocery shopping or preparing meals. Vivalon delivers over 130,000 meals annually to more than 700 homebound older adults and people living with chronic health conditions.
