ART INSTALLATIONS RETURN TO NOVATO

The City of Novato Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department announced its partnership with Alchemia, a North Bay nonprofit that supports artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities, to bring rotating art installations to downtown Novato kiosks.

Six artists will have their work featured in these highly visible public spaces.

This partnership builds on the success of Voices & Visions Art Walk, a Leadership Novato project through the Novato Chamber of Commerce that displayed Alchemia artists’ work on kiosks throughout downtown in April 2025. The positive community response to that initiative inspired this ongoing collaboration to ensure these artists continue to have visibility in downtown Novato.

Throughout the year, artwork from six different Alchemia artists will be displayed in downtown kiosks, each featuring the artist’s work alongside their photo and bio. This rotating exhibition celebrates the artists’ individual voices while enriching Novato’s public art landscape.

Visit Alchemia’s downtown Novato gallery at 1123 Grant Ave. or explore the work at alchemia.org.
