As Christ Church Sausalito prepares to celebrate its 150th anniversary, the organization launched “A Place for All” Capital Campaign. The fundraising effort focuses not only on preserving the historic landmark, but on expanding its role as a gathering place. Built in 1882, Christ Church is the oldest surviving church in Sausalito.
The campaign will renew Campbell Hall and create a more accessible, welcoming garden designed for community events, music and connection.
A monthly Neighbors Supper Club, held every third Monday in partnership with Sausalito Village, brings together neighbors over a shared meal, creating meaningful connections and helping address the growing challenge of social isolation, particularly among older adults.
“It’s an opportunity to slow down, share conversation, meet new people, and strengthen the sense of community that makes Sausalito such a special place,” said Jennifer Conway, board member. “Whether someone comes alone or with friends, the goal is simple: everyone leaves feeling more connected than when they arrived.”
